On 18 November 2025, as part of the project (Trans-)Formation of Identities: Orthodox Christians in the Ottoman Balkans (c.1450–c.1750), funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and hosted by the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Dr Irena Plaović, a member of the project team, delivered a lecture titled Identification Strategies in South Slavic Rhetoric of the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Centuries.
